Sunday blues....

So...it's almost the end of summer and I'm starting to feel those Sunday blues. You know, that feeling of dread that washes over you after lunch on Sunday when you start thinking about all of the things you have to do the next week. Going back to school is just around the corner and I am determined to squeeze out the last drops of summer before it's over. Tomorrow I get to meet the new teachers in our district at a luncheon. I am V.P. of our district's teacher association and will have the privilege of being able to formally meet all of the new faces, one of which I just got my Master's with! Yahoo!

Then, like a good little worker bee, I will go into my classroom and work, work, work! This is my last week off before heading back for realzees. I've really enjoyed my extended p.j. days. No makeup days. Not leaving the house days. Watching t.v. and going to the bathroom whenever I want. That is one of the hardest things about going back, right? Not being able to use the bathroom except during select times of the day. My body adjusts to the new schedule pretty quickly, though. And...if it's a total emergency, I can pop into the boys' bathroom right across from my room. (YUCK!)

I will take some more pics of my room, hopefully the finished product, before I leave tomorrow and I'll post part 2 of the classroom pics as promised. I have a MONUMENTAL, COLOSSAL, STUPENDOUSLY MOUNTAINOUS, GARGANTUAN, list to get through. How's that for some good descriptive words for writing?

On a silly note, you have GOT to go visit Reagan Tunstall at her blog and watch her back to school video/song. It is SO funny. And true. Made me laugh. And cry. LOL! (Scroll down to the bottom of her page.)

Here's to the last week of freedom. And for those of you that are already back, I wish you the very best, most rewarding, and least stressful year yet!

TTFN
